Dr. G. Richard Olds is a physician, educator, and healthcare leader with more than 40 years of experience. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University and Massachusetts General Hospital, he is trained in Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease, and Tropical Medicine. A prestigious leader, he has held leadership roles at Brown University, Case Western Reserve University, and the Medical College of Wisconsin. As founding dean of the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine, he helped create new pathways for training doctors to serve underserved communities.
Dr. Olds later became the first president of St. George’s University, now the leading provider of new physicians to the U.S. Today, Dr. Olds works with both our Internal Medicine practice and our Hemet and Menifee Global Medical Centers residency program to strengthen medical education with a patient centered approach.
In his spare time Dr. Olds enjoys spending time with his wife of 46 years, children and six grandchildren at their family farm in Vermont.
